A British man was shot in Dar es Salaam on Monday.
Details are scarce, but the British High Commission confirmed that consular affairs is involved in assisting a man who was shot on Monday.
At this time it’s not clear where, when or why he was shot, however unconfirmed reports on social media suggest the man was shot on Mwai Kibaki Rd in Mikocheni.
While the British government travel website says most stays in Tanzania are trouble free, they warn their citizens that “violent and armed crime is increasing.”
