Utility provider TANESCO will be performing upgrades on Sunday, August 9, resulting in power disruptions.
According to TANESCO, power cuts in the city centre and Upanga are scheduled to take place starting at 09:00 and end at 18:00.
Affected areas include, but aren’t limited to, the following streets:
Ali Hassan Mwinyi Rd, Azania St, Azikiwe St, Garden Ave, Jamhuri St, Ocean Rd, Ohio St, Mindu St, Samora Ave, Shaban Robert St and Sokoine Dr.
Disruptions are also planned for various parts of Temeke on Sunday as further upgrades and repairs take place.
