It’s not everyday parents encourage their kids to grab spray paint and experiment with graffiti, but Saturday was one of those days.
The annual Wachata graffiti exhibition was held at Nafasi Art Space and attracted over 500 people of all ages.
Wachata Crew founder Mejah Mbuya says the all ages event — complete with live graffiti painting, a workshop for learners and live hip hop performances — was a great success.
The evening wrapped up with a Lyricist Lounge arranged by Fete Jen and featured poets, singers and of course, more hip hop including Fid Q, Kbc from Kwanza Unit and Kool Koor from New York.
