Fuel prices have dropped across the board for the month of January, says the the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA.)
“To a large extent the fall in the local market prices have been caused by a drop of prices of petroleum products in the world market as, well as the a decrease in freight and premium charges,” says EWURA director general Felix Ngamlagosi.
Petrol prices in Dar dropped 4.01 percent to 1,898 TSH per litre and diesel prices dropped 4.20 percent to 1,747 TSH per litre.
EWURA sets fuel prices for Tanzania each month.
