The heavy rain advisory issued for Dar es Salaam earlier this week is still in effect, says the Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA.)

“Cloudy conditions, thundershowers over some areas and sunny intervals,” are all in the cards for Wednesday, April 13.

The advisory is likely to extend to Thursday, April 14, as only ‘slight changes’ are expected in the forecast, says the TMA.

Coastal winds from the north are expected to be up to 30 km/h.

The TMA says periods of heavy rain are also expected for Morogoro, Pwani, Tanga, Lindi and Mtwara regions, along with Unguja and Pemba.
