GSMA Mobile 360 Series Africa features high-level thought-leadership conferences including keynote speakers and panel discussions which focus on accelerating access for a digitally inclusive society. Mobile 360 Series Africa gathers stakeholders such as operators, regulators, policy makers, service providers and NGOs to exchange visions, solutions and innovations for the benefit of the mobile industry.

ONEm has been handpicked to provide thought-leadership in this area as ONEm is pioneering access to internet style services and communication to all mobile users without the need for internet connectivity or a smart phone. A true disruptor in the telecommunications industry, ONEm is connecting the unconnected.

Without any upfront costs, Mobile Operators can utilize their legacy Voice and SMS networks in a new and innovative way to deliver exciting new smart services to all mobile users. This offers Mobile Operators the opportunity to monetize on existing assets and satisfy the increasing user demand for innovative services.

ONEm offers services which are aligned to the aims of the GSMA Mobile for Development initiative. This initiative focuses on increasing access to life enhancing mobile services, and using mobile to accelerate socio-economic development for the underserved.

With the many different smart services accessible on any mobile device, ONEm is recognised as a thought leader in boosting social and economic development through mobile and has developed services such as O-Commerce, m-Agri, O-Health and educational tools with exactly this in mind.
