It’s a month later than planned, but on Tuesday morning (September 27) a Precision Air flight departed Dar destined for Hahaya airport in the Comoros islands.

The one month delay was due to administrative issues with Comoros authorities.

“Our flights will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, these frequencies are designed to cater for traders, government officials and leisure travel,” says Robert Owusu, Precision Air’s commercial director.

Precision Air has previously offered flights to the Comoros islands, but most recently stopped the route in 2014 while undergoing a strategy review.
