Upwards of 30,000 members of the Dawoodi Bohra community have come to Dar as part of Ashara Mubaraka, commemorating the death of Hussein, the grandson of Muhammad.
Members of the community — this year, 44 nationalities are represented here in Dar — gather in a different location every year along with their spiritual leader, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin Saheb.
Due to activities happening in and around the Hakimi Masjid on Magore Street between October 3 and 11, delays are expected between 09:30 and 22:00.
Temporary road closure and traffic restrictions will be enforced on Magore Street, Ally Khan Road, Kibasila Street and Malik Road.
