Still need get your taxpayer identification number (TIN) verified?
The deadline for verification in Dar es Salaam has been extended to November 30, 2016, says the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA.)
Do expect hours of waiting in queues hundreds of people long.
It’s also been reported to Dar Post that people have been turned away due to system crashes.
According to the TRA, those who do not verify their TIN numbers by November 30 will be removed from the system.
The verification process applies to both individuals and businesses and was originally scheduled to end on October 15.
