Utility provider Tanesco says they have nabbed a man posing as the company’s staff in Ilala.
The middle-aged man had been identifying himself as a meter inspector, says Tanesco in a statement on their Facebook page.
Tanesco says encouraging its customers to report any suspicious behaviour in what the company calls an ongoing effort to combat theft.
The suspect is being held by the police.
