Fuel prices are up for the month of February, says the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA.)

“To a large extent these changes have been caused by increase in petroleum product prices in the world market, BPS tender premium charge and depreciation for the Tanzanian Shilling against the US dollar,” says EWURA director general Felix Ngamlagosi.

Petrol prices are up 3.64 percent to 1959 TSH per litre.

Diesel prices are up 7.47 percent 1861 TSH per litre.
