We all wish we could be at Sauti za Busara right now, but unfortunately we can’t have everything.
So to numb the pain (or perhaps make it worse?) here are some photos of the ongoing festivities in Zanzibar.
Musicians from across the continent, including Medhi Nassouli from Morocco, will play at the festival.
Since it started in 2004, Sauti a Busara is said to have genrated more than $70 million USD (156 million TSH) in revenue for Zanzibar.
And if you are one of the lucky ones reveling in the awesomeness that is East Africa’s best loved international music festival, share some of your photos with us at news@darpost.com and we’ll add them to the gallery.
