Update: The heavy rainfall warning continues to be in effect until Saturday, April 8.
A heavy rainfall warning has been issued by the Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) for Wednesday, April 5.
“Periods of heavy rainfall exceeding 50mm in 24 hours are likely to occur,” says the TMA.
The warning applies to Dar es Salaam as well as other coastal areas.
