A heavy rainfall warning issued last week continues to be in effect for Dar es Salaam.
The Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) says heavy rainfall of over 50mm in 24 hours are expected through to Tuesday, May 2.
‘Strong winds exceeding 40 km/h and large waves exceeding 2m’ are also expected, says the TMA.
The warning is in effect for Dar es Salaam, the Isles and all coastal areas.
