If you’re looking for a good cause to show your support for this weekend, why not visit the World Environment Day festival running on June 3 and 4.
The free two-day festival is taking place from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Kijitonyama Posta Grounds.
This year’s theme for World Environment Day (June 5) is ‘connecting people to nature’ and the festival features music, dance, drama, performance, exhibitions, and more.
There will also be trash ‘clean ups’ and an up-cycling lab to check out.
One of the key topics the festival will focus on is the impending plastic bag ban, which is set to be implemented at the end of June.
