The first day of Jones Mrusha’s #CashLessChallenge is over and the burning question is: will street boys be able to accept mobile money payments?

Jones says he met a street boy who had a Vodacom number, but was not registered for M-Pesa.
“[He] promised to register for M-Pesa to start receiving the little I could be able to share for the next 30 days when be “DEEP” (beep or flash) me,” says Mrusha.
But Mrusha isn’t sure if the street boy has a valid ID, which is needed to activate a mobile money account.
Another surprise for Mrusha when he woke up on June 1? No need to carry a wallet, just a small money clip!
