This year’s International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) will also include an e-waste recycling station.

While volunteers (yes, you too should volunteer!) clean the Coco Beach on September 9 from 08:00 to 11:00, Phenix Recycling will also be accepting a wide variety of electronic items for responsible disposal.

Accepted items include: TVs, screens/monitors, electronics, phones, cables, batteries, chargers, music players, laptops, hard drives, solar lanterns, solar systems, computer accessories, computers, key boards, printers, video players, cameras, dvd players, tv decoders.

Items that won’t be accepted include: liquids, oils, toner cardriges, paints, refrigerators, ACs’, irons, washing machines, gas stoves, heaters.

The ICC is the world’s largest volunteer effort to clean up beaches and waterways around the globe
