Where and what, exactly, is home?
On Friday, October 13, HOME is at the Old Boma on Sokoine Dr, where DARCH in collaboration with ALT Del are launching a temporary exhibition entitled HOME. (Things get underway at 18:30.)
The exhibition examines belonging, attachment and roots in our ever-globalizing and migrating world.
A dozen artists and performers, including Gadi Ramadhani, Nicholas Calvin and the Muda Dancers, will depict their understanding of home through installations, performances and through an ongoing collaborative mixed media, sculptures, paintings, engravings, prints, drawings, photographs, video and dance.
