In preparation for the Most Muscular Man Tanzania competition, the red carpet at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre was covered in cardboard Saturday night.
Once carefully oiled up, competitors from all across Tanzania filled the stage, showing off their physique to a panel of judges.
“The game is all about the people who want to grow up in their physique,” says event organizer Mohamed Ali.
And Saturday’s game was perfect, he says.
“The message is really about bringing more young people to exercise and not just sitting on the street.”
