Petrol prices will be up this month however diesel prices will be slightly lower, says Tanzania’s energy regulatory authority.
Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) director general Felix Ngamlagosi says petrol prices in Dar es Salaam will be 4.19 percent higher, coming in at 2,290 TSH/L.
Diesel prices in Dar es Salaam dipped by 0.86 percent to 2,026 TSH/L.
Kerosene rates were lowered by 1.47 percent.
“These changes have been caused by changes in prices of petroleum products in the world market,” says Ngamlagosi.
The rates are effective as of Wednesday, August 5.
