Both petrol and diesel prices have increased for the month of August, says the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA.)
Petrol prices are up .88 percent to 1,905 TSH per litre.
Diesel prices are 5.24 percent to 1,811 TSH per litre.
“To a large extent the increase in the local market prices have been caused by increase of prices of petroleum products in the world market prices as, well as the increase in freight and premium charges,” says EWURA director general Felix Ngamlagosi.
