The Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) has issued a warning for strong winds and large waves along the coastal belt.
Winds of up to 50 kilometres per hour and waves of up to three meters are expected until Tuesday.
The warning extends to all coastal areas of Tanzania, from Tanga to Mtwara and all the islands.
