Update: The Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) says periods of heavy precipitation and thunderstorms continue to be expected in Dar until at least Wednesday, April 19.
A heavy rainfall warning with seemingly no end in sight continues to be in effect for Dar es Salaam.
The Tanzania Meteorological Agency (TMA) has issued daily heavy rainfall warnings for the past week, the latest of which is for Thursday, April 13.
Only ‘slight changes’ to the forecast are expected for Friday, April 14.
Coastal winds of 30 km per hour are anticipated as well.
